Standard Equipment

  • 1" stainless steel tube rack completely seam welded-watertight with 16 gauge shelves with runners for suspended cages.

  • Stackable, polycarbonate cages (or autoclavable high temperature polycarbonate) with 3\8" round perforations towards the center and larger 3\8" square corner perforations for added waste deflection where waste tends to build up.

  • Stackable high temperature plastic (Noryl ENG265) excreta pans.

  • Choice of "J" style or cage front mount feeder unit.

  • 5" diameter nickel-chrome plated castors; two with brakes.

Optional Features

  • Stainless steel or CPVC automatic watering mounted to the inside of the rack frame for built-in autowater protection.

  • Solid or perforated bottom cages.

  • Standard polycarbonate or autoclavable Udel®.

  • Daily wash down waste system.

  • Bottle watering.

Smart Cage Design
Lenderking's ComfortCage™ floor design has proven to be the answer for housing guinea pigs in a bedding free, laboratory environment. When group housing is inappropriate, this unit will provide ample space for single housing even the largest of guinea pigs, or 2 guinea pigs over 350 grams.

Drawer style design lets cage unit pull out for easy animal inspection and removal. Cage securely holds feeder unit, optional bottle watering and 3" X 5" cage card holder.

Optional automatic watering is mounted to the inside of the frame work to prevent damage from other equipment, caging, and walls. All valves are outside of the cage with drip troughs and chains to prevent waste pan flooding.
